Venture on an incredible 10 Days Fossils and Minerals Tour. Our journey begins on Day 1 as we leave Casablanca and head towards Midelt. Along the way, we’ll drive through the enchanting Azrou Forest, where you can meet and snap pictures with playful monkeys, and savor a delightful lunch in Azrou. The Michlifen volcanic area, rich in olivine and magma, awaits our exploration, followed by a visit to Timhdite to discover brachiopods, bivalves, and spherifers. Our day concludes at a Midelt hotel, where we’ll spend the night, gearing up for more discoveries.
Enjoy a private tour only for your group. our morocco excursion starts today and our all-over morocco tour driver will pick up you from your hotel and we can start 10 10-day adventure fossil morocco tour. we drive from casa blanca toward midelt, during this journey day we will pass through azrou forest and stop you to make pictures with monkeys (lunch in azrou) then head to michlifen a volcano area rich of olivine and magna, then drive to timhdite and visit brachiopods bivalves and speriferes, after drive to hotel in midelt where we will enjoy our night until morning and visit old mines there.
After breakfast in midelt we will drive to mibladane mines which rich of barythe cerusite, and also vanadinites but rare to find, next drive to ahouli mine. after, we will visit sidi ayad and gather azurite malachite and flurite, and then back to hotel in midelt.
At morning we will leave midelt and cross the high atlas mountain through tizi n’talghomt and pass through ziz gorge to collect brachiopods bivalves from jurassic. then pass through ziz valley and collect echinoderms cidaris micrasteres from cretaceous cenomanian, next drive to merzouga where we will have night accommodation.
After breakfast in hotel we drive to south of merzouga towards famous kem kem site rich in fish crocodiles and spinosaurus bones and teeth. then we visit the boutariyt place and gather echinoderms ( lunch depends your option) next we head to an old mine of filon 12 which contains vabadinites quartz and goethite. afterward, we visit mifis old laid mine, and then we back to the hotel in merzouga.
Departure from hotel to north merzouga, we drive to north merzouga and visit azourz site which rich in black devonian pyritised goniatites. then visit tisket site where trilobites found. moreover, we will visit also brythe mine, then picnic overthere in oasis. then, in afternoon we collect sand roses made of gypsum and sand ….then back to hotel in merzouga.
After you have shower and breakfast in hotel we will drive to boutchrafine site and visit where crinoids found and trilobites, then head to erfoud where we will visit factories of big blocs cut and manufactured the tables, book ends, dishes…and decorative items. after, we will drive to alnif and spend night in hotel.
At morning leave alnif and drive to cambrian site where you will see yellowish trilobites. afterwards, visit ordovician area in jbel tiskaouine rich in calymenes and flexycalymenes. then back to alnif.
After alnif we will visit todgha gorge and pass via different berber villages before arrive hotel in midelt.
We will leave midelt and drive to oued zem and visit phosphate area and this area famous by shark teeth, and then in evening we will arrive casablanca and reach you to hotel.
