Meet Authentic Desert Tours Driver / Guide. Start The 6 Days Desert trip from Marrakech. We will begin our journey, leaving Marrakech, at 8:00 am in the morning and depart for Ouarzazate. In the way, we will cross the Atlas Mountains at 2260 meters elevation by the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Shortly after crossing the Atlas Mountains, we will take a track to visit the Pacha Glaoui Kasbah in Telouet. While passing through various Berber villages, we will arrive at the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, an incredible fortified city which is more than 800 years old. Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou also have been featured in a number of popular Hollywood movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator & The Kingdom of Heaven. In the end, we will go to Ouarzazate where we will visit the popular movie studios. We will have our dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, We will Take the Off-raod 4×4 Desert Tour. We will visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Then, we’ll depart in the direction of Zagora, crossing the mountains of the Anti-Atlas and passing through the pass of Tizi N’Tinifift at 1,600 meters elevation. Passing by the Draa Valley, we will see various Berber villages and Kasbahs by the track. Leaving behind the towns of Nkob, Tazarine and Alnif, we will take another track that crosses the lost towns of Morocco until we reach the Gorges of Mharech. Many of these sections of Mharech Gorges are traversed during the popular Dakar Rally & 4×4 Tourist Groups. Continue our Morocco desert trip by 4×4 to Ramlia Villages. Where we wil take Overnight Between Sand dunes of Ramlia Oases, at An Authentic Riad ( Kasbah Ramlia ).
On our Day 3 Continue along the track of the Dakar Rally Cross exploring people living in isolated areas, epiphytic plants, wadis (dry river beds), oasis and dunes of Ouzina. Continue our Sahara Desert Road to visit the Berber villages and the Erg Chebbi (the highest dunes in Morocco). Our lunch will be with a Berber family. We will then arrive at Merzouga Possibility to take Atv Quad Biking in Merzouga Desert or Motobike Rental trip, to watch the sunrise. or one of Our Other activities in Merzouga. We will go out to explore the Erg Chebbi, an extension of the sand desert where the great dunes of Morocco is located. It is more than 250 meters in height, connecting the track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar rally, with the mountains bordering Algeria. We will make a halt at the oasis of Tissardmine and nomad settlements respectively.
Our next stopover will be at a panoramic point where you will be able to contemplate the Erg Chebbi dunes as a whole. Then we will have a small tra-break at Khamlia to relax with a cup of tea and a small concert of Gnawa music to enjoy. Then we will have a berber lunch & Visit Nomads. We will climb the sand dunes and experience the romantic sunset in the desert with Camel trekking Experience. We will have our dinner and overnight stay in the private Berber camps in the desert. After returning back from the Berber camp, & take shower and have breakfast. Watch Sunrise Merzouga Sandunes. Go Back to Merzouga Village by Camels or 4wd Trsnfer as you wish. We will visit Rissani, the origin of the Alawite Dynasty and first imperial city of Morocco. From Rissani, we will visit Erfoud; rich in black stone and marine fossils. Then, at the Palmeral of Tafilalet. We will then visit the Todra Gorges and the Dadés Valley where we will have our dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Today, Is the last Day trip on The 6 Days desert journey Morocco. We will come across the ‘Thousand Kasbahs’ while passing through the stunning valley of the Roses. We will also visit at the palm grove of Skoura, the open-air “museum” of the Kasbahs in Morocco with traditional Moroccan architecture. Then we will return to Marrakesh in the afternoon.
